The femme fatale of footwear?

The other day whilst flicking through the pages of Grazia I stumbled upon the most amazing pair of green snakeskin stiletto's by shoe designer Charlotte Olympia. I have seen her shoes before and thought that they were gorgeous but I had never really given THAT much attention to them so I decided to do my research.Hot new footwear label Charlotte Olympia is the brainchild of Cordwainers graduate and London IT girl Charlotte Olympia Dellal. The half-Brazilian, half-English designer is inspired by the glamour of the 40s and 50s and her statement making block color sandals and quirky-cool shoe boots are already a hit with style setters Kate Moss and Sienna Miller. Needless to say the heels are virtiginous but they have such a maticulous approach to detail in particular the signature gold spider web on the sole of each shoe. I have been coveting the collection for days and am in desperation for the Genie wedges (shown center above) from the showtime collection but i could settle for the majority of the label at any means. Well it's one way to make heads turn...

Back for now

I'm back and so so sorry I havn't written any thing is ayyyges. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday. I spent a week in New York which was amazing as always. I always find when im walking around someone i just write loads of random shit down on my blackberry, and in NYC I definately had a lot to make a draft of so I thought i might put down some of them and maybe help you next time your in the city in a sort of daily cady way....

Eat: Monkey Bar- Located uptown and opened by out home boys Corbin and King of The Ivy and Wolsely...you already know its good. Don't be thrown by the decoration in the front room...the tables clothes are all wrong but you can look past that when you go in to the back the decoration sorts itself out and the food is unbelievable.

Sleep: Grammery Park Hotel- I am going to write about the top city break destinations so I won't go into it now but all I have to say is that yet again Mr Shreger has most definately come out tops. I stayed at the Pierre this year on 61st and 5th which was gorgeous and home to the lovely new Caprice but I'm in love with grammercy.

See: If you are planning on visiting NYC any time soon make sure you go to the Tim Burton exhibition at MOMA. It opened just after thanks giving and remains open until May. The exhibition contains all of Burtons perplexed creations and is vast...ques are a bit of a nightmare so get there early.

and finally shop: Of course Im not going to run through them all and tell you about my purchases but here are a few: Rugby-I know its a branch of Ralph Lauren and it conventional but their sweaters are the best and their are some really cute things to mix up.
Olive and Bettes-Thrifty, fun bold stuff..great accesorries
generally every where in NOHO makes me really happy...

I WILL write in a couple days time, take care 'till then x

Sorry about the length of this post
