It's that wonderful time of year when all the Christmas lights are up, presents are looming around the corner and the weather is that perfect mix of cold air with blue skies. I have always been a massive fan of early December that is with the exception of the first ten days when I am at school. I love putting on long socks, boots, jumpers and coats and watching the world go past blissfully. It may be the most expensive time of the year but boy is it worth it. On of my all time favourite things about November/December are the red cups at Starbucks. I have no idea why but they make me feel very blithe! Below is a list of my favourite thing's to do in London during Christmas:
1. Ice skating at Somerset house. I think that Somerset house is one of the most beautiful buildings and surrounded by the massive Tiffany themed tree, oversized Tiffany box and the smell of mulled wine is my idea of complete bliss!
2. Sitting in Sloane Square and watching the buzz go past. It has the most elegant and beautiful Christmas lights.
3. Shopping or window shopping on Mount Street, Bond Street and in Harvey Nicks (avoid Oxford Street at all costs.)
4. Watching Gossip Girl. Particularly the episodes which are filmed around Christmas, top ones being "Roman Holiday" and "Hi Society"
5.Going to Winter wonderland and eating the waffles
So wrap up warm, tis' the season...
